PAYPAL REFUNDS

I have paid a deposit of 75 GBP for accommodation in Scotland in May 2017. I was informed on 28 June that the deposit was refunded to my Paypal account after an inspection on the property was done. Transaction ID: 0BV ********** ********** Since then I have been trying to get my money back, with no success. On the Paypal Website it clearly states that the money will be refunded to the ORIGINAL SOURCE, which means it is my credit card as its the ONLY account linked to my Paypal account.

After depleting all the online options on their page (questions/anwers) I eventually sent them a message on Facebook. The lady said the refund was a personal payment made into my Paypal account and South African regulations prevent them from refunding it to my credit card. I can only withdraw it from a US bank account? UNITED STATES? I am in South Africa, why would I have a bank account in the United States?

When I told the lady from Paypal that I was going to report this as *****, she said, a second option would be to withdraw it from a FNB account (which I don't have), but I can keep the money in my Paypal account and use it whenever I want to.

I dont' want money in my Paypal account, I have ONLY used Paypal as it was a requirement from The Wee Haven where we stayed, I have paid it with my credit card (connected to Paypal), why can't it be refunded back to my credit card? They didn't have a problem taking it from a South African Credit Card Account, but now I must have a US bank account to withdraw it from?

My only other option is to open a new FNB bank account. Should I now open a FNB bank account just to get my money back? What if they say its not connected to my current Paypal account and not the original source of payment? There are costs involved when opening bank accounts, its time and money, just to get my money back which is owed to me ? How can I be sure if I go through all the trouble by opening a new bank account at FNB I will get my money out of this Paypal account as that account is ONLY registered with my Credit Card at ABSA bank?

I need help, but they keep on apologising for the INCONVENIENCE! I want my money back into my credit card where it was taken from, its not their money and I don't want to leave it in an account I would never use again. Please can I get proper advice instead of apologies?
