PayPal no buyer protection

I got my card debited twice and they promise that the cards are secured, I logged in a complaint and no one helped even when I tell them that the debit wasn't authorised, they don't even respond, the last time the experience was better because someone had to call to find out, but now it's like I'm asking them for a favour yet I put my cards on there thinking they're safe, but no, anyone can just get in there and take whatever amount they want and PayPal will blame you. There's no buyer protection, such a disappointment.
