PayPal is used to **** people

I had someone interested in purchasing a Fit Watch from me, which I advertised on a well known website. They asked to pay me via PayPal, as it was secure. I agreed. I recieved "confirmation" from, what looked like an email from PayPal. But never recieved the payment in my PayPal account. When I tried contacting the buyer, their mobile was disconnected.
