Paypal is not safe!

I opened a Paypal account as it is supposed to be one of the safest ways to buy or sell. I even called FNB who endorsed Paypal. I was ****med out of R6550.00! Paypal client setvices called me three times to follow up on my query! But their ***** department has not contacted me yet after I've sent two emails. It has been more than two weeks. Even FBN has not responded to my email yet.
