PayPal Dictatorship
I have a PayPal account but I stopped using it a while ago because of the absurd rigmarole you have to go through to get your money out of them. They offer a transaction transfer service but they act as if they control the world. They are an intermediary for forex and it is not their function to regulate my business. I offer an editing service to clients all over the world. But the ****** banks are making it increasingly difficult to receive payment from international clients. Who the hell are they to dictate terms between me and my customers? And they sell it as a concern for security and it's for my own good. BS!! I don't buy a word of it. It's all about control. On 8 November I reluctantly agreed to receive a PayPal payment from a client because that was the only option available to the client in his country. That's how bad it's getting. The transaction came through NO PROBLEM. Yesterday they put a client's payment on hold for 20 DAYS just at random. What the HELL?? I wasted 2 hours yesterday jumping through hoops on their ****** website and still nothing. There is a huge gap in the market for couriers to collect money from the buyer's bank and take it to the seller's bank. I do not recommend PayPal and I strongly urge civil society to rise up against banks worldwide who think they control everybody's affairs - just like any other business, they are NOTHING without their customers.
