No help in time with fine payment details.

I received a fine near Piet Retief on the 10th Aug 2022. On the 15th Aug I sent an email with a letter of appeal for help as I could not get hold of the Piet Retief municipality to make arrangements for the letter of appeal. I sent another follow up email on the 19th September for help to make payment as the court date was for th 20th September. I then received the reply with ticket nr #355834 that they received the email and that I have to check back in 21 days. This meant that it was already after the court date. I received an email with their bank details today 17 October and now have to pay the original fine and R300 extra for contempt. I will pay this amount, but I think that people should know that you will not get help in time from these companies. I stay in Pretoria and could not just drive thru to go pay the fine in Piet Retief. No help received either with the appeal.
