Most frustrating and useless company to deal with

Pay my fines is a new portal developed in 2025. They sent out communication for a fine that was paid in 2024 already, which resulted in a duplicate payment. I requested a refund and after I had to follow up numerous times with them and to no avail, by email and phone call (they never answer their phones or emails). I even spoke to and emailed their head of sales, Francios Du Toit. He said that he would assist and still there was lack of assistance. I then received an email from them saying that they cannot process the refund and I should contact Fines SA (which the fine was initially paid through in 2024) and request that they issue the refund.

Please do not register with Pay my fines, they are absolutely useless and clearly they do not know how to do the right thing. They don't know about customer service and are horrific to deal with.

I would highly recommend Fines SA to be anyone's default platform to use. What polite and professional personnel that work there and are always willing to assist with efficiency.
