Wrongfully blacklisted

Dear Hello Peter team and PayJoy SA, I am writing to formally complain about PayJoy SA (Pty) Ltd for a persistent and incorrect adverse listing on my credit record. This is causing significant financial distress and has led to my loan applications being denied. My account (ID number: ***) was officially cancelled and had a zero balance as of October 21, 2025, as confirmed by a letter from PayJoy SA, signed by Palesa Mavundla (attached as proof). Despite this clear confirmation, my ID is still being flagged on credit bureaus as owing PayJoy. I have attempted to resolve this directly, but the issue remains unresolved. This failure to update my credit status is unacceptable and a violation of my consumer rights. I demand immediate written confirmation from PayJoy that: The adverse information has been removed from all credit bureaus. No further negative information will be submitted. Failure to resolve this matter within 48 hours will result in me escalating my complaint to the National Credit Regulator (NCR) and the Credit Ombud, and I will seek legal counsel for damages incurred due to this negligence. Contact: +27 (62) *** Sincerely, Patience Ntombifuthi Dlamini

Reviewer Update
bject: FINAL DEMAND: Non-compliance with National Credit Act –
"This is my final follow-up regarding an incorrect adverse listing by PayJoy SA (Pty) Ltd. Despite my previous HelloPeter review and the settlement letter dated October 21, 2025 (signed by Palesa Mavundla), PayJoy remains in breach of Section 72 of the National Credit Act by failing to update my credit profile to a zero balance. This negligence has caused me significant financial loss and multiple loan rejections. I have provided conclusive proof that this account is settled. If I do not receive written confirmation and a reflectively updated credit bureau report within 48 hours, I will formally file a case with the National Financial Ombud (NFO) and the National Credit Regulator (NCR) for a compliance investigation.Reference: Settlement Letter dated 21/10/2025."
