Very Disappointed with PayJoy Service – Do Not Recommend

I recently got an Honor X5b phone through PayJoy on the 6th of September 2025, and I have been extremely disappointed with both the device and the service. From the beginning, the consultant persuaded me into taking this phone, saying it had the space I needed. I was not given proper options within my budget and ended up stuck with a device that is slow and does not meet my requirements. When I raised my concerns, I was told to go to the shop for assistance, but when I got there, they said nothing could be done since the issue was “not technical.” They even spoke to CX and a colleague, but in the end, I was told the only solution was to cancel the contract and take another one. This is very unfair considering I had already paid R270 and the phone was less than 5 days old. I feel misled, pressured, and treated unfairly. Now I am expected to continue paying for a phone that I do not want and that was misrepresented to me. The service has been poor, with no real solutions offered. I cannot recommend PayJoy to anyone based on this experience. If you want fairness, transparency, and proper customer service, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
