Payjoy **** about monthly payments

Sharing my bad experience with this company as a first time user I am disgraced with the lies being told.. I signed for a new phone and even paid the upfront deposit fee. I clearly told the agent I want monthly repayments as I cnt afford the weekly payments told him I am fine with paying monthly his words which I asked him to repeat and confirm and I repeated back to which he acknowledged was that il pay the following Monday on the 28th of February again and that should run me the entire month an I can pay again on the 20 or 26 of March not to sure.. So I see my device the following week has a payment due option I immediately emailed payjoy and to date have no reply from them I tried contact them no reply they never answer the calls made to them now I'm sittimg with a locked phone of no use for me. Can somebody call me an resolve this

 Good Day Sydney

We apologize for the confusion and are sorry the terms were not better explained.

Kindly note that with PayJoy you are required to pay 30% deposit then within 7 days your first installment is due, at this stage it will be up to you whether you pay weekly or monthly.
If you make a weekly payment your next installment will be due in 7 days and if you make a monthly payment your installment will be due in 30 days.To suit your pocket, you can switch between the two payment options at any time and you don't even need to call us to arrange that.
The PayJoy app will show you the minimum amount you can pay. To view all amounts please click on make payment, click on Pay with Pay@ to View your payment options.
How to make/change payment on the app:- Open the PayJoy app on your phone and follow these steps:- Make a payment- Pay with pay@- Pay now- Click on the pencil icon- Enter the monthly payment: R- Choose card payment- Enter your bank details and pay.
However if no payment is done your phone will be locked until you make your weekly or monthly payment.
Should you require further assistance, please reply with your contact information, we will reach out and assist.
Kind RegardsThe PayJoy Team
