Payjoy is not for the faint hearted...

Had the worst experience Enquired at the local Jet store, and obviously, the Payjoy notice boards were there. They helped me find out on Payjoy how much I'd have to pay for the device I chose. I was happy with the expected monthly instalments and proceeded to complete the application. They scanned the device out....normal processes followed. The shop assistant opened up the Payjoy app, which they'd downloaded on my device, and bam! The expected monthly instalments were three times the initial amount they had shown me. Obviously, you agree on a payment plan based on affordability. The assistant himself was confused, as this was not the monthly instalments he had processed with other Payjoy clients. Frustrated and confused, I thought of cancelling the application then and there, but I really needed to replace the phone primarily for work purposes. A few days later, the Jet store calls me and asks me to come in so they can try to resolve the matter. The other problem that had arisen was they the Payjoy system failed to process the application, and thus they could not register the phone as stock out from their inventory list. Yesterday I made it to the store and the assistants spent almost three hours online and on the phone with representatives from Payjoy. Once a chat was started, it would end abruptly, and during their calls the matter would be escalated, but no feedback. After exhausting all means, they opted to cancel the application, and I had to return the phone to the store. Biggest frustration...all my work and personal information had already been uploaded to the new device. Any one of you can understand the frustration and pain of no longer having a device, especially when that same device is your only lifeline and means of being productive at work. So here I found myself standing in the store, close to closing time, emptying out my pockets for a downgrade device just so I can replace the phone they have said will have to be returned to the store. Gratefully, the store was able to hotspot me so I could transfer all my work information to the new device. Though admittedly not all was able to go through. Deleting personal information apps. My health levels ebbed to critical. I'm not sure about you, but this whole whitewashing or resetting of devices does not work for me. With all the cybercrime out there, now this device will obviously be resold to someone who, I pray, is not some ******** mind who will access my identity. After all this, I would never recommend Payjoy even to my worst enemy. Not only did they not have their systems checked, but their customer service is not competent at all, or else they would never have dropped live calls just because they couldn't resolve issues. It makes it look like this is standard practice, and all they can do is run from the issue. Moreover, this practice affects the reputation of the stores in which they have their kiosks. It makes the assistants look *********** and like ****mers. I would like to thank the Dundee Jet Store branch. Their patients ' desire to reach optimal client care was seen and appreciated.
