PayJoy Damaged My Credit for a Phone I Don’t Even Have
I am completely drained and don’t know where else to turn. I took out a phone at Edgars, The Glen, on 18 July 2025 and returned it the very next day. The consultant accepted the device and assured me everything was processed.
Months later, I was shocked to discover I was still being billed. I followed up repeatedly, only to find out the consultant emailed PayJoy but then went on leave and never followed up. Since then, I have been handed over to debt collectors for a phone I don’t even have.
I contacted PayJoy and even spoke to a manager who promised urgent help — but no one got back to me. I also sent proof of return to the debt collection department and still received no assistance.
This has now damaged my credit profile, and I was declined for a home loan. Emotionally, this situation has taken a huge toll on me. I feel helpless, anxious, and completely let down.
I am begging PayJoy to fix this urgently and clear my name.
