PayJoy app misbehaving & Terrible customer service,
I took out a phone on the 4th of January 2024. (2nd time I take out a contract with them. 1st was 2022 June and was paid off before time). The following day 05th January 2024, the phone starts opening PayJoy apps screen duplicating it to 4 upto 12 and refuse to close which is draining the battery and the phone keeps saying background app to be put to sleep which in this case *payjoy security restricts me from doing so* fair enough i contact support im told go to branch clerk will help. Clerk says she can't do anything. it's rather a technical clich with o also believe so. Called customer support and was told to restart, power off, and use the close all tabs button to no aid. (Normally, 1 screen for the app should always be on. I know that, and it was the same as the same phone.) Kept logging queries, emailing, chatting InApp, chatting on whatsapp none of these support agents seem to know how to help me all tells me reboot, restart, power off and all didn't work. Then, the last one of the 4 said, "Go back to store, mind you, that's week 3 I got the phone still with no aid.
My issue now is that since then, it duplicates the app to even 20 screens, and it never closes them no matter what. When I went back to clerk at Pep (PayJoy agent), she told me her call support agent told her to book in the phone for repairs, and I'll be liable for collection and repairs fees. What the heck should I be paying for what's not broken?
The phone had no problem the problem is the PayJoy app misbehaving. Courtesy demands that I be given same or similar phone and they take this one back as they can't assist me it happened on the 2nd day of phone being taken on contract. The 7 days warranty was still valid. Samsung's guarantee has not been affected as their phone is okay.
