MISLEADING ADVERTISING, POOR SERVICE, AND *****ING UP PEOPLES CREDIT FOR NO APPARENT REASON
I have had it up to my neck with this company, with their poor ethics and service. I purchased a phone from them via Vodacom towards the end of July 2023, used it for 4 days and returned it on the 1st of August 2023 because I had come to the realisation that their deal makes no financial sense and the installments I was going to make could have bought me a device that's way better than the one I opted for or 2 decent devices, I then got another decent cellphone deal elsewhere however I am not as fiancially stable to pay for theirs as well so I opted to return it and accepted that my deposit was going to be forfeited. I followed all their return of device guidelines and requests and they still have not seen to the matter. I have been visiting Vodacom and calling PayJoy for weeks on end in my attempt to close off my account and there has been no luck. They're extremely good at sending payment notices and what's worse they have messed up my credit records. I owe these people absolutely nothing and its been 3 months now since I have returned their device, I have done my part (the Vodacom PayJoy consultant included) and still nothing from them after calling, emailing, visiting the store for days on end and fulfilling every single request from their side. I shot myself on the foot the day opted for that stupid cellphone deal and worse its very misleading, I got the rudest wakening after my device was up and running. They don't follow up on emails it's just sending payment notices, putting people on arrears for no reason and vibes that's it.
