Misleading advertising and clauses not disclosed.

I saw an ad at the bluff tower's mall which read that I could purchase a cell phone from Vodacom on a 3,6 or 9 month installment agreement. I went into the Vodacom store and enquired and immediately Purchased a phone and agreed on a 9 Mont installment.I walked to pay a deposit of R912 which I promptly did.At no stage of this contract was I informed of a weekly payment or on return of the device ,my deposit will be forfeited. Exactly 1 week after purchasing the device it gets blocked and a notification appears asking for a payment of R250.I decidedly to call vodacom on Monday,no answer.I called on Tuesday and was told that the manager would call me.He did.I explained the situation,he asked me to return the phone.I went there and he called payjoy and a consultant spoke to me.I was told to send an email to them and they would respond.Tgey responded yesterday, asking me to return the phone but my deposit was forfeited. This was not my fault. This was non disclosure on the part of the consultant and no clarity was given or explained by the consultant. I WANT MY MONEY BACK OR I WILL NOW EXPOSE YOU ON SOCIAL MEDIA.

 Good day,
Thank you for addressing your rental take-up concerns with us.  We would like to apologize for the overall service experience received as this is not the type of service that we wish to render to you as our customer.
We have attempted to contact you on the cellphone number on your profile with no success, the line rang to voicemail. Once more, we have attempted to call the clerk and the store but the line was engaged.
To change from paying weekly to monthly, on your next payment date pay your monthly installment and it will automatically change from weekly to monthly. Once payment is done, kindly connect your device to the internet by means of mobile data, Wifi or Hotspot to allow your Payjoy application to update in accordance with the payment made. Please do this after every payment to keep your device from being locked.

We are still willing to call you and offer more assistance. Therefore, may you kindly provide us with your alternative number we can use to contact you again.

Regards,
Customer Experience Representative
