Exploitation ********* business practices
I’ve been paying R252 weekly since 1 Nov 2024 to PayJoy for an Oppo A40, totaling over R8,500 so far for a phone worth R3,000 retail including vat .
This pricing was never clearly explained, and there was no transparent breakdown at the time of signing. It feels like I’ve been misled and exploited.
Under the Consumer Protection Act, I have the right to fair pricing, full disclosure, and reasonable terms. This is not just ********* it’s potentially ********.And just saying we included vat when the vat was paid many times over please man this is an exploitative business practice .This includes the MTN store I got the phone from .Sies man
I’m demanding a full cost breakdown,
If not resolved, I will escalate to the National Consumer Commission and explore legal action .
