Be careful with Payhoy
Disappointed and frustrated with Payjoy
I got a phone with them on 01 February 2024 and it happened that I forgot the password to unlock the phone.
I took the phone to Vodacom and they said the can refresh it a fee while trying to refresh it they realized that they can't because of the Payjoy app. Meaning they can't access the software so they told me to contact Payjoy and ask them to remove the app and they will reinstall afterwards.
Vodacom tried by all means to help me by calling Payjoy several times like I did and send emails to request. Payjoy kept on taking us from pillar to post engaging with different consultants, supervisors and their technicians.. Vodacom tried several times to explain the situation and how it can be resolved but Payjoy technician insisted that I take my phone to Samsung and Vodacom repairs of which I did and feedback was he same which was the phone is still new therefore, they can't assess it or repair it. The problem is not with the phone, it Payjoy can remove their app and then we will be able to refresh the phone and reinstall afterwards because it's app has some restrictions.
Guys Payjoy iis not barging and to make matters worse when I volunteered to then come to their office so that they can remove the app I was told that their technician can't because the handset belongs to Vodacom and Samsung. So how am I going to get assistance because they don't want to corporate with Vodacom and Samsung yet I'm expected to pay the contract whereas I don't get the service as per our contract.
What makes it worse is I'm not getting any help from Payjoy at all. All I wanted is for them to work with Vodacom and remove the app so now they want Vodacom to send them an email again whereas Vodacom doesn't have a problem their phone is fine so them Payjoy as third party is their service that is not good.
