Payflex took my money without consent

I have been debited R664.25 without consent by payflex. How is this possible that these companies can just take my money? This money was being kept for my drivers license renewal which is booked for the 02 May 2024. Please refund my money immediately

Dear Ozayr

Thanks for your review and thanks for taking the call from our COO.

As mentioned on the call, you have acknowledge that you gave your card to Mrs. Zaida Moosa whom loaded your card on her profile. When loading your card,  a 3D secure was sent to your phone by your bank to authorize the card as a valid card to be debited for any transaction and arrears that my be incurred on the profile of Mrs. Zaida Moosa.

Our terms and conditions are very clear in this regard https://payflex.co.za/terms-conditions/

Specifically section 8.3 and 8.3.1 which reads as follows:

8.3. In the event that we are unsuccessful in obtaining payment from your Primary Card for an Instalment on the due date, you irrevocably authorise us to:

8.3.1. take payment of the overdue Instalment Payment including any Default Fees from any Card that is loaded on your Payflex profile at any date.

In our attempt to collect from the primary card on Mrs. Zaida Moosa profile, we exercised our right as detailed in section 8.3 and 8.3.1 above.

We understand you are upset and angry, but we have to point out that Payflex have not done anything wrong in line with our terms and conditions.

In actual fact, on registration we warn customers regarding the Do's and Don'ts. One of these is to advise customers not to load cards that do not belong to them on their profile, as the scenario above can and will occur. Kindly see these warning below, which are detailed on the registration page on our website. https://payflex.co.za/customer-registration/

After my previous complaint of being debited ********ly. More than 2 months later, payflex has debited me two transactions today. Following the reply from payflex, I did contact the account holder to remove my card from their system. The account holder told me their payflex account is blocked and they have no access. 2 months later I wake up to 2 transactions totalling R1328. 50 that's been taken from my account. I will be visiting the local police station to open a charge of ***** against payflex.

The payflex account holder has advised me that the payflex account was handed over to debt collectors as she received calls from debt collectors.

To the public, try calling payflex contact number. Payflex is unreachable to query these transactions. It says alot about the company payflex we are dealing with.

Further to this. The payflex account holder is very displeased that her full name was given by the payflex ceo in their response to my query.

Very unprofessional and negligent use of personal information which is given to payflex.

Your email is censored. Your unprofessional ceo has my details. He has contacted me before. Maybe the guilt is stopping him from contacting me now
