PayFlex Refuses to Provide Formal ***** Confirmation Letter Needed for SAPS Case
PayFlex refuses to provide a formal letter confirming *****, which I need to open a SAPS case. Collier Malan, their collections company lawyers, and SAPS have all informed me that PayFlex must supply this letter. However, their COO has refused to provide the letter and has been ignoring me since December 19, 2024.
If PayFlex disputes this, I have email proof of my ongoing requests for a formal letter. I am happy to share this evidence with anyone interested. I am now forced to take my complaint to the ombudsman.

We have provided sufficient feedback in prior responses on the tickets you have sent to support - We cannot provide an apology letter as we cannot be held liable for your data getting into a ********** hands outside of the Payflex environment. Your personal data was compromised well before ********** used it on Payflex.
Payflex have removed all adverse information from our system as well as at SACRRA and the various bureaus.
Should you wish to be provided a paid up letter, then indeed this can be arranged, but we have not found such a request.
Kindly advise and we will gladly provide you a paid up letter.
Regards
The Payflex Team

Good day,
I am not seeking an apology letter.
SAPS require a letter stating that ***** has occurred from PayFlex, so that I can open a case and clear my name.
PayFlex can phrase the letter in a way that indicates the incident happened through no fault of their own.
A "paid up" letter implies that I did not pay the account, which suggests an admission of guilt and labels me as a delinquent payer. This is a misrepresentation of the truth.
Collier and Malan, your collections company, informed me a letter needs to contain the ***** and no monies are owed. This will protect me against future liability.
Why is PayFlex refusing to provide a simple letter stating that ***** occurred, through no fault of PayFlex, so I can open a ******** case with the SAPS?
