Paflex is a ****

I am writing this with a heavy heart, feeling utterly disappointed and devastated. Someone somehow gained access to my Payflex account and made purchases at Steve Madden without my permission. I immediately contacted Payflex, and they asked me to provide my personal details, transaction date, order number, and the total value. I had a buying power of R2200, but the person responsible managed to increase the limit to R4000.

They purchased items from Steve Madden for R1499 and R1799. Payflex called me and reassured me that they had stopped the orders and that I would be receiving a refund. They also informed me that my account had been blocked. However, just a few days later, I received another call from Payflex, and to my shock, they claimed that they had never told me they had stopped the orders and that no refund would be issued. They stated they couldn’t be held responsible for the *****.

To make matters worse, they are now sending me messages demanding payment, threatening that I will fall into arrears. How am I supposed to pay for something I didn’t buy? This entire situation feels like a ****, and I feel helpless and frustrated. Payflex has left me in a very distressing position.
