Lack of Empathy in payment dates
I made a purchase on the 27th of August 2024 and made payment for the first installment. I selected the 3 month payment plan expecting the next payment to be due at the end of September 2024 only to find that the next payment was due in 5 days time. Purchase date is not linked whatsoever to the next payment. This is very inconsiderate since the 3 month payment plan is actually for 2 months. When I got in touch with the customer service department to query this I was informed that payment dates cannot be changed. Very disappointing as the 3 month payment plan is very misleading. ***, you need to look into this matter.

We are so sorry to hear of your confusion and your review.
But this does give Payflex the opportunity to set the record straight and educated all our clients.
When you checked out and selected the Pay in 3 option, the payment plan presented to you was very specific as indicated below.
Payment: 1; Amount: 1078.00;AmountDue:1078.00 Date: 27 Aug 2024; Status: Paid
Payment: 2; Amount: 1078.00;AmountDue:1078.00 Date: 1 Sep 2024; Status: Pending
Payment: 3; Amount: 1078.00;AmountDue:1078.00 Date: 1 Oct 2024; Status: Pending
If you did not wish to pay the second installment on the indicated date, it would have been best for you to have cancelled and tried the next day or closer to the 1st which was your selected salary date. You just missed the 5 day window by 1 day.
The rules of Pay in 3 are quite clear.
If you choose the Pay in 3 option more than 5 days before your pay day, the second payment will be in the same month. But if you made a purchase on or within 5 days of your pay day, then the the second payment will only be the next month.
In summary. It is best to purchase as close to (within the 5 day window) on or just before your salary date, in order to spread the payments across 3 actual salary dates.
We trust this clarifies the matter.
P.S. We still won't be able to assist you to change the dates on your current plan. But now that you know the rules of Pay in 3, you are now better informed as to when you should choose the Pay in 3 option.
P.S.S. Only 4 salary dates are available. The 1st, 15th, 20th and 25th.
Regards
The Payflex Team
