DO NOT SIGN UP FOR PAYFLEX, YOU WILL LIVE TO REGRET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have an overdue amount on one of my payflex orders installment, the installment is R651.33 which I missed on the 25th Nov 2024, it is now the 13th of Dec 2024 and that single installment has interest of R375, in which world is that even legal, they've greyed out that order on the app so that they can continue to pile up all this unreasonable interest, their phones don't even work, I just want to pay and deactivate my account, I WILL NEVER USE PAYFLEX EVER AGAIN AND I ADVISE AGAINST ANYONE CONSIDERING TO EVEN SIGN UP, RATHER USE MOTYME OR PAYJUSTNOW.

13 Dec 2024, 09:39Hi Mikateko
Thanks for your Hello Peter - It provides us the opportunity to educate all new and existing customers - The key message being - Read the Terms and Conditions of our service - so one understands what one is signing up for.
There is nothing ******* about the fees you have been charged and are similar to all Buy Now Pay Later service providers.
Our fees are explained in our Terms and Conditions in detail - https://payflex.co.za/terms-conditions/
For your case read section 8.5. which reads as follows: "Total Default Fees charged shall be capped at the lower of R255.00 (including VAT) or 50% of the Purchase Price (including VAT) for the Pay in 4 Instalment Plan and shall be capped at R375.00 for the Pay in 3 Instalment Plan."
Therefore to blame Payflex for any indiscretions is not right - You failed to read and T and C's and understand the consequences of missing payments.
Remember Payflex incur costs when customers don't pay, and it would be extremely unfair to expect Payflex to cover the cost for customers who miss payments.
Have a lovely day further.
Regards
The Payflex Team

13 Dec 2024, 11:06Then why make it impossible for me to settle the overdue amount, is the plan to let the interest pile up, the overdue amount that I wanted to pay on the app was grayed out, and time is ticking because you add interest of almost 20% every 7days but yet you want to make it almost impossible for me to settle my account, why did I have to go to the website, and that was even by happen stance because I always use the app, I was even billed twice for one of the orders, and your customer service is non existent, and why is the number on the website not working, who do we talk to on the phone when we have queries

The Payflex App is only one medium to access ones account and pay - If you have issues on the App you can always pay on the website directly via the customer portal at https://customer.payflex.co.za/login on your phone browser or via a PC and Web browser.

13 Dec 2024, 11:36You have me very frustrated, I was about to be hit with another R125 charge in 2 days but yet I am willing to pay but on the app it's not working when trying to pay, you try to call, the number is not working yet it is on the website, an installment of R651.33 that I missed on the 25th of Nov has already turned in to R1026.33 and was to turn into R1151.33 by the 15th of Dec because of the app issues
