Stay away from them if you value your sanity!

I approached their Woodstock branch while visiting in Cape Town from Namibia to replace the keyboard of my laptop and also check if the RAM was sufficient, because it was very slow. When the guy recommended to replace the HD with an SSD I vehemently turned it down, since the external hard drive with my back up with ****** recently and I didn't do another back up yet.

He then took liberty and ignored my orders and replaced my hard drive without doing a full back up. When collecting the laptop he assured me that all was in order and available on the old hard drive which he suggested I use as an external hard drive. The user file on my old hard drive, however, was completely empty which means he clearly tampered with it. So they re-installed the old hard drive into my laptop, but I could no longer log into my Windows user account, ie could not access any data. They played it down and insisted that they merely had to bypass the login to access the data. Instead they did the unthinkable and re-installed Windows and through that basically formatted my hard drive deleting all contents, which could have still been recovered without too much effort.

Head Office got involved but never informed me what actually happened and made me believe until the day before my departure for Namibia that all was under control and that they only needed some time to get all back to how it was. In reality, however, they were already busy with a data recovery after Woodstock "formated" my hard drive and to make matters worse and putting the final nail in the coffin, did they recover the data onto the same hard drive which they were recovering the data from, and through that duplicating files and *******ing files.

I ran my company from this laptop and lost everything! The damage done by PayCheap is immeasurable. I had no choice but to approach an attorney who will sue them for damages.

I didn't only suffer material damages from this misconduct, but the mental damages are just as severe. I am suffering one nervous breakdown after the other from losing business to competitors, because I can no longer access my company data!
