Pep Norkem Mall refuses to scan in my parcel

My parcel arrived at Pep Norkem Mall but the branch refuses to scan it in for reasons that should not affect me as my delivery period has already lapsed by two days. I'm told that other parcels will be lost if they scan mine. Was I paying for other parcels or for my parcel?
