Paxi courier with PEP

I have never been disappointed with PEP Paxi courier like I have right now, my parcel left Cape town on the 2 November to arrive on the 15 November (still don't get why weekends are not calculated). It moved until 9th, only to be told when I make a follow up on the 15th that they will check with courier what happened. On the 15th midnight to be updated that it has left the place it was at since the 9the. On the 16th only to be told it has been lost in a highjack, like ***, why did it stay the until I called? Only to be told I will only be paid a quarter of what my parcel was worth. I'm sure this was a planned thing.
