PATHETIC SERVICE - PARCEL IS LOST!

If I can advise anyone out there who requires the services of a Courier service, PLEASE DO NOT EVER USE PEP's PAXI SERVICE!!!!! I have never in my life being this frustrated. I've never had a parcel or document lost when leaving it in the hands of a courier company. My package was handed to Pep Queens Corner, Pretoria on 9 October 2020. The sender received an sms with a reference number, she forwarded it to me and advised that I use the tracking number to track the parcel on the PAXI website which I did. It showed that the parcel was dropped off by her at 11h45 on Friday, 9 October, and collected by the courier at 15h38 on the same day. The next Monday I checked, no movement had occurred, the status just shows 'IN TRANSIT'. I've called the customer service centre probably 30 times since then, talking to different agents, having to explain the same story, wasting my airtime. I was told that the parcel will be delivered within 5 to 9 days, the 9th day being 22 October 2020. I was told I'll receive an sms with a PIN to collect the parcel from my post office. To date I've received no sms, I've spent about R100 on airtime calling the customer service centre, today I called 3 times and every time I get told that they will investigate and call me, and no one ever calls. I was told yesterday that the parcel was collected from Pep Queens Corner by the courier, it was supposed to be taken to the hub, but it's not at the hub. It's not at my post office either. The store where it was dropped off confirmed that the courier collected the parcel, it was placed in the truck/van. I'm now being told that a refund will be arranged to a maximum of R500, but the value of my parcel contents is R1850. No one wants me to talk to a manager. It's been the most frustration few weeks of my life. 3 hours later noone has bothered to call me back today, after I called 3 times. I will never use this service again, and I'd like to advise other customers not to either, as this is the situation you will find yourself in. Nobody at PAXI is taking responsibility for this lost parcel. I am very disappointed, angry and frustrated. If anyone knows a number or email for a senior staff member at PAXI, please be so kind and reply to my review with the contact details that I can use.
