Lost Parcel

I used PEP to deliver my parcel from Phokeng to Virginia. I received the tracking info however upon the arrival of the parcel in virgin, the parcel was opened and contents missing. I tried to call PEP Phokeng after being informed about the opened package,the lady who assisted me told me it is not there responsibility and I asked her who is responsible guess what she just gave me Paxi contact details and said i should find out from them ,still maintaining that it is not PEP responsibility for the lost parcel . 1 Is this the service to expect from PEP 2 Who now should be liable for the lost parcel and lastly should we .trust PEP for its service ANNOYED .
