Dissatisfied with poor service

I am quite dissatisfied. I sent a parcel from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town (something I was selling to someone), and it went "missing". I was phoned and informed that there was a ******* and my parcel was one of thise taken. They offered to compensate me, and asked for my email address. I gave it to them, but to date no email! No one is answering my enquiries online.
