Absolute nonsense courier service - Don't bother yourself!

If there was a negative rating I would do so.

I sent a parcel to Eastern London on 01 April 2021 from Pep Tramshed, Pretoria. I specifically asked the teller if it is safe and whether I have to do something to make sure it is secure (i.e. better packaging, insuring the package etc), she told me that everything was in order.

A week passed, and they were giving us updates as usual until 7 April 2021. I asked my niece to go check if the parcel has arrived at Pep East London and only today (14 April 2021) I was told that the courier was highjacked.

Really if this was a hijacking both the courier service guys and PAXI will be notified, immediately.

My immediate frustration is that I had to ask them 5 days later of the "hijacking" about my parcel. They did not see the need to give me a call immediately when they found out that they have been highjacked.

To prove that this was really a hijacking, I demand that either or both PAXI and the courier service people must give out proof as this incidence will be reported to the police and necessary communications will be made by both parties.

Secondly, the lady that called to inform me this literally did not show any remorse and just told me that I should wait for a claims form which will be sent to me and I will only claim R500, which is not even a fraction of what I had sent.

I am super annoyed, frustrated. Disappointment is an understatement.
