I signed up for a “Social Media + AI Integration” course hosted by Pax Projects, advertised via bulk email for 28–29 March 2025 at the Protea Hotel Balalaika in Sandton. I paid R10,700 to secure my spot, but never received any terms and conditions.

A few days later, Pax Projects cancelled the course, citing keynote speaker issues. I requested a refund due to my travel commitments and the uncer*****y of rescheduled dates. They refused, stating a “no refund policy” – despite not sharing this policy before payment.

They later emailed alternate dates that also did not suit me. I repeatedly requested a refund via email with no reply. Phone calls were ignored. Eventually, the company’s website disappeared, and their listed phone number was disconnected.

I contacted the hotel venue directly, and was told that while they had been approached for a quote, no course had ever been booked or held by Pax Projects.

To date, I have not received any refund or further communication. I believe this company has ****med multiple businesses and individuals, and I urge others to proceed with caution.
