Paul Mitchell Sandton will ruin your lashes

I never leave reviews but had to for this as a warning to other ladies. Wanted to get my lashes done for a wedding. Unfortunately the lady I trust was booked so popped into Paul Mitchell in Sandton City. Was wary that it was virtually empty and they could take me in right away no booking AND on special (not a good sign) the man that did my lashes didn’t even consult me about my lashes, just abruptly asked what size i want (how should i know if I’m not the technician, you should be telling ME what’s appropriate) - I just said classic. On a chair in the middle of the store just told me to look ahead with eyes open (lash services are always done with eyes closed) placed clumps of lashes on, while the fumes of the glue stung and made my eyes water. The lashes looked decent but the installation was terrible. Heavy glue, many lashes on one lash (which can cause your own to break and fall out) no after care instructions, my lashes were heavy and uncomfortable after. This man is clearly not a nail technician. Just someone who went on YouTube or something. Badly installed lashes can cause serious damage. Can even cause eye infections if you don’t sterilise properly, it’s no joke. Long review but just wanted to warn other ladies out there, it’s a miracle my lashes came out decent after removal. Paul Mitchell, hire professionals! Not just people who claim they can do something.
