Be wary of the service!

Following a referral from an agent in Paternoster, I engaged the Paternoster Rentals team via WhatsApp to enquire about accommodation over the 2025 Festive Season.

The response was immediate with a link to a stunning property. I asked for the Terms and Conditions to be sent to me, which were promptly done and then I followed up with the cancellation terms which were missing from the Ts and Cs.

The cancellation terms were sent to me via WhatsApp around 7.15pm the same evening as the enquiry was sent and I immediately responded to ask for a link to book the place.

To my surprise, I was told that the property was booked via the website over night and there was nothing that they could do. I was told that their offices closed at 5pm (despite receiving a WhatsApp message at 7.15 - hmmm...) and that they 'cannot control the website bookings'.

At NO point was it made clear that, if interested, I should book via the website. In fact, the Terms and Conditions sent state very clearly that a payment link will be sent should I request same.

Albeit a very privileged thing to be able to holiday in the beautiful town of Paternoster, this review is to just ensure that others don't experience the same service and ultimate disappointment as me.
