Paternoster Place holiday disaster as owner did a double booking without informing us.

We booked our holiday during the 2nd week ofJanuary 2026. I have a whatsapp from Helenè dated 15 January 2026 where she stated, "see you March". She double booked our unit without informing us. I confirmed our booking on 12 March 2026, a week prior to arrival on the 18th. We traveled over 2 hours to get here only to find our unit occupied by another family. This was the second time it has happened. When confronted Helenè just shrugged her shoulders saying they booked before us. I do not believe that for a minute when I have her whatsapp of 15.01.2026 confirming she will see us in March and thanking us for our support as we were regulars. She did not even attempt to apologize. Dispicable management of her business and bookings. My whatsapp of 12.03.2026 went through to which she never even responded making us drive all the way and then our booked unit was occupied by another family. This is very very bad. Last time it happened she never checked properly when we booked and we had to move out for 2 days to another unit as she had people that had pre-booked our unit we were in that she thought was available for us and then we moved back after the two days. Not a pleasant experience. Also she had a ****roach problem and the unit she moved us to was rife with ****roaches as well as she had had a bad infestation. A ****roach flew onto the bed which was dreadful and they were dying all over the place as they had fumigated to get rid of them. The smaller unit she moved us to for the 2 days was badly infested.
