Holiday rental agent - shocking customer service

On our annual holiday to South Africa we decided to treat ourselves to a few days break away in Paternoster. I booked a cottage via [URL Removed] and was directed to Paternoster-Accommodation as the rental agent. Our group consisted of local and foreign visitors. From the moment the deposit was paid the communication was sporadic and we had to chase them for information. To cut a long story short - we paid a refundable deposit for damages / breakages in advance. No problem there. However 2 weeks after check out still no sign of the refund. I enquired and was told verbally the money will be refunded the same week. This was on 21st January 2015. Nearly 7 weeks later I am still chasing refund of my deposit. On 3 separate occassions I was informed in writing that my refund is imminent however now they claim we damaged some linen and my full deposit is being witheld! I have seeked clarification and am yet to receive any response or refund. The battle continues... I would strongly recommend this holiday rental company NOT be used to book your (what was meant to be) a relaxing and idylic get away on the West Coast!
