Disgusting service

I'm giving this star for the store being open. I went in to purchase some buttons, said 'good morning please can you show me where your buttons are' in a friendly manner and the woman in the shop was so abrupt and rude. When I returned to the till with my purchase she then chastised me for not bring the container to the counter like I was a disobedient child. Clearly she was just getting into the swing of things. When I presented my card she challenged me on why I couldn't pay cash, despite there being a card machine on the table, and then proceeded to give me a lecture on why I should carry cash. I was gobsmacked. Her final comment was 'well I hope that you at least going to tap'. I would have thought that small businesses would be doing backflips after Covid to procure patronage but this clearly not the case for this business. I personally look forward to seeing the closing down sale for this particular business, it couldn't happen to a nicer person.
