Took my money and didn’t do the work. They don’t want to refund me and ignore my emails.

Hi everyone. I would like to tell everyone of my experience with Passports4U. I paid R3700 for two unabridged birth certificates on the 9 March. I called them soon after the payment, and they said they received the money and were going to go ahead. Lockdown was on the 16 March which is understandable. I got no response for a while and asked for a refund on the 23 March. On the 24 March, Elle sent me an email saying they cannot refund me my money as the work was done and I would get an SMS either that night or the next day. I am still waiting for an SMS and sent her an email yesterday and today. 24 June is a long time to wait and I submitted in November 2019. I should have just waited for the 6 months and it was a waste of time and money. I know the Lockdown doesn't help but it's not professional not to get back to your clients and not to do the work that they were paid to do. I know some people have had great experience and reviews with the company and this is why I used them.
