NEVER ,EVER , AGAIN

NEVER ,EVER , AGAIN , potentially the worst place to take your tools to be repaired, took my drill in for repair, the switch/ speed controller failed, even stated what the problem was, and it was noted. Paid the Strip and Quotation fee , got the Quotation, just about everything needed to be replaced , all good trusted them they work with this tools on the daily , approved it, what needs to be done the get the drill back to work (that dill works hard) , after about 2 weeks I received and email saying my drill is fix and ready for collection with an invoice for more that the quotation was for , I asked about it, he admitted himself or one of his workers made an error and missed a Field coil, he removed it, stating they made the error , I request for the drill to be tested. unfortunately the drill did not work and the problem with the switch/ speed controller still remained, it was booked back in right way , back and forth him saying he will see what the costs are, maybe it's something small they can quickly fix , did not like the words , see that the costs are as I already payed for a working drill , a few days later I phoned for an update and that was when I heard the drill was send to the manufacturer , and that the Electronic unit and Poti switch was replaced and sins it was not part of the original quote, he will send me an invoice , I refused to pay it, as that was part of the problem and was supposed to have been picked up in the Strip and Quotation phase, he now wants me to pay more money to fix the problem that was the problem from the beginning. This made me wonder whether all the parts that was replaced ,was really necessary?, after I had to warned him I will take this to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO) and the National Consumer Commission (NCC) he rep**** with a Paid in Full invoice and this message trying to make me the villain. "Jy is welkom te betaal vir die additionele werk as jy will Dalk verstaan jy nie wat n gebaar van welwilendheid is nie. " Translated : You are welcome to pay for the additional work if you wish Perhaps you do not understand what a gesture of goodwill is. Goodwill ?, I paid for a service that was not done correctly the first time. it took you 6 weeks to fix my drill.
