Installation of security gates substandard

<p>We had a home invasion last month. The gate on the boundary of the property was forced open with what appears to be a *****driver or a lever. The steel plate protecting the jamb of the lock form access to lever it open was tack welded and was simply bent clear of the jamb.</p> <p>Once the lock was exposed by levering the jamb open the dead bolt of the lock was broken by a heavy kick that opened the gate.</p> <p>I was not aware that my security gate could be forced like this despite having the security gate being manufactured by a security gate company. </p>
