I would not recommend Party Rentals, owned by Rudi Visagie, based in Riviera Pretoria!!!

I would not recommend Party Rentals, owned by Rudi Visagie, based in Riviera Pretoria!!! We booked a slush puppy machine, as well as 50l beer keg from them for my husbands 30th birthday party. When it came to payment, there were no delay in sending the invoices as well as the banking details.

On arrival, the operators did the set up, but could not wait for the slush machine, or beer to get cold to do a proper test before leaving. They also sold extra slush puppy mix to us, without reporting it to the owner. We paid cash for the additional flavour, but the operators only denies receiving money from us, or asking if we would like to buy any additional flavours.

After 2hours, the middle barrel of the slush machine was not freezing, We reported the issue to Party Rentals Management - we were advised to switch off the 2 barrels on the side, so that the middle 1 could run alone. After an hour of the middle barrel running alone, still nothing happened. So now the other 2 barrels were also unfrozen again which now needs to be frozen again, before our 100 guest arrive.

The beer keg was leaking where the ice was suppose to be, the valve were leaking and the beer were spraying out of the sides, everything on the table was wet, and the water was running everywhere all over our photo booths floor.

So now we were are sitting with a 100 guests, a slush machine that is not competent for 100 guests, and needs to be refilled every now and again... NO BEER, and wet floor, that needs to be mopped every now and again!!

We were advices that unfortunately they cannot help us because all operators were out.

Party-Rentals could not care less, and were only prepared to refund 50% of the beer keg... They sent their operators to pick up their equipment, and left with a FULL barrel of beer, claiming that we broke their machine. and said that if I had any further issues I am welcome to phone the police...

DO NOT USE THEM TO HIRE ANY OF THEIR PARTY EQUIPMENT!!!!!
