Parts on Call ..... Con artists

around September or October my 2008 Audi A4 (B8) 2.0 TDI broke down, I made contact with a company called Parts on Call ( based in Lenasia ) , they advised me that they had the correct parts I needed to have my vehicle repaired ( a crank as well as big ends and main bearings ) , another two weeks went by and I had arranged for my vehicle to be towed to a mechanic to be repaired as I now had the correct parts, just to be told by the mechanic working on my vehicle that the crank that was provided is not the correct part as it is a crank shaft meant for a VW caddy, over and above that the thrust on the crank is damaged which means it needs to be repaired as well. the bigends and main bearings I had no issue with however the mechanic advised that they had to use oversized bearings to repair my car. I then contacted parts on call in early December 2021 and told them that the parts were not the correct parts and if they would be willing to look at buying the parts back, take note that I paid over R 5000 for the incorrect parts, I advised that I would understand that they would not want to buy the parts back for the same amount which I am 100% fine with , I was advised that they are moving office and that they will get back to me shortly as the owner has agreed to come to some form of agreement, now when I contacted them and advised them that no one is getting back to me I am advised that they dont do refunds or buy back as part of their terms and conditions.............. so in short if you order a part and the incorrect part is delivered then its your problem no matter how much it has cost you.

this company is a bunch of ******* that ***** people over get make money and then when you question it then they delay the hole process so that you are not able to do anything........... a company statement on their website ( Our second-hand parts go through a rigorous quality check and restoration process if required to ensure usability and professionalism. ) however the crank that was provided wasn't checked.
