Faulty oil pump

I bought an oil pump for my vehicle from Parts Mall and it was faulty, I returned it and they provided me with a replacement one which was also faulty. This caused my engine to seize incurring additional charges to overall my whole engine again. When contacted them, they refused to be responsible for the additional damages that the oil pump had caused. According to them, the mechanic could have incorrectly installed the oil pump. I am no mech but there should be only one way to install an engine part that has a gasket, a cheap excuse for not being responsible for their faulty part. <br> Companies like this should be taken to task, they failed to understand that there is consumer protection act in place and they need to follow it, I would not advise anyone to supports companies like this.
