Horrible after sales service

Trevor quoted us a price with a 10 year guarantee on the painting of our home. We raised concerns over ensuring the walls were damp proofed and was quoted a premium price for the job as a result. He also did a few other homes in our estate and when he started with the job, we received a warning from a neighbor that he will mess us around but gave Patridgewood the benefit of the doubt.

As the job progressed we raised the snags, to which Trevor indicated we should only raise this at the end of project. We agreed to hold back 8% in order to allow the paint to dry and for us to assess his work. A week later, all the snags in his work showed to which we sent him pictures and details of the snags. Snags included and not limited to: -White drip marks showing on walls due to plastering work not given time to dry before painting. -Plastering completing unevenly, reflecting poor workmanship -Differences in paint color from poor application of paint -Plastering not completed neatly -Cracks on walls were not filled after it was chipped -White damp is showing on walls after paint, indicating damp proofing was not effective. -Leaves where painted into wall

When we contacted Universal paints regarding the white drip marks on paint, and they came out, we were told that Patridgewood did not given the plaster a chance to dry before painting.

We just want the matter resolved and the painting completed so we may settle the retention and ensure we have a 10 year guarantee as promised.
