Manager on Duty was very arrogant and rude

The waiter that attended to us was very pleasant and friendly. It was after 9pm and the place was fairly empty. We ordered drinks and it took just over 20minutes to come. We ordered our food and that took over an hour to come. We asked the waiter and he said that it was on the way. When we finally received our meals, it was terrible. I ordered a basket and the ribs were ice cold and the chicken strips were burnt. The waiter took the ribs, warmed them up in the microwave and brought them back. They were dry and tasted terrible. The chips in all our meals were old and stale. The burgers were yucky! I complained to the waiter and asked for the manager. The Manager on shift (I think his name was Wonder) was very rude to us. He said that there was nothing wrong with the ribs being cold on my platter and that we came just before the kitchen closed and the chips were old but if we were willing to wait, he would bring us fresh chips. We said no, as we were totally put off and none of us ate our meals. He gave me a R30 discount. I told him that was unacceptable but he refused to deduct the cost of the basket. The food was terrible and I had to pay the full bill! Very upsetting
