Blatant ******

I experienced an extremely uncomfortable situation while out for dinner with my friends. Upon passing another customer's table my friend and I were subjected to a racial slur. Not only did we hear the comment, but so did two waiters standing nearby. When reporting this to the general manager, he informed us that the waiter's had made him aware of this already. He confronted the person who made the comment but the patron vehemently denied it resulting in the manager apologizing on his behalf. We were then made aware that the person who made this ****** comment would be allowed to finish his meal and then only be banned, however no action with regard to this statement was observed. I am deeply disgusted that in this day and age ****** comments are still allowed to pass. This incident was handled in a blasé manner as I think more irrefutable action should have been taken. This was a revolting blemish on an otherwise beautiful evening. Now it will remain memorable for all the wrong reasons.
