Billed an extra R150 because of misinformed waiter

I have been a regular Parrots fan for quite some time. I went to the Centurion Mall branch for Valentines and I ordered the Tomahawk steak. The waitress asked me “will that be dry aged or normal”. I directly asked her, “ what is the difference and is there a price difference”. She said “no, it’s an optional choice that has no implication on size or the steak nor on price”.

The steak itself was really average, though I won’t be petty about that. I was just disgusted to see that on top of a R299 meal from a relatively budget restaurant, I was charged an extra amount, bringing the meal to R449 when this is stated absolutely nowhere in the menu and your staff misinformed me.

In a personal capacity and for my company, I won’t be supporting such a conniving company again. This is a really sad way of penny snatching.
