Bad Attitude, Pathetic Service

Walked into Parrots Centurion yesterday where I received the most pathetic service ever at a restaurant;

Not even 30 seconds after I had sat down a waiter approached stating (in a rather abrupt tone) that I am not allowed to sit at that table as apparently it had been reserved (however no sign on table indicating it's reserved). I politely said "ok, that's fine."

I then took out my charger to charge my laptop, and I was told that I couldn't use the plug as apparently it's faulty (however the same adapter is giving power to their cake display which is working). I again politely said "ok, fine". The waiter persisted with this story even after I said this, still in a very obnoxious tone; so much that other patrons started looking and checking what the commotion was about. (Quite embarrassing as the interaction was now interrupting other patrons dining experiences).

Stood up and informed the manager on duty, who defended the waiter stating that the waiter is a bit "old" and therefore stuck in "old" ways of doing things. (Which to me is a nonsense reason).

I then walked out and went next door to Col'Cacchios instead where in my opinion I was offered better food and excellent service (Which is exactly what I needed after a long day at the office).

Although the night ended off well for me, I think Parrots seriously need to train their waiters in client service and overall good manners.

Some constructive feedback.
