Abuse of the Macau parrot

Hi I would like to express my disgust towards Parrots Restaurant in Menlyn Shopping mall. I was at the Ocean Basket next door with my family and noticed Parrots has a live Macau on display in front of their restaurant, I'm sure there are people who find it amusing looking at a depressed bird in a cage. My sister in law who is a vet and who was there with me, informed me that the bird seems extremely sad, it was about 21:00 in the evening and it still out in the light, so it isn't able to sleep. This is so inhumane. I phoned the restaurant after we left and expressed my anger towards this as I spoke to the manager, he said he will inform the owner, yet the Macau is still there. This bird deserves freedom, he deserves a life outside of a cage and outside of a mall, this is cruel and it sickens me. I will never eat at your restaurant, and believe me, I am spreading the word that you encouraging animal cruelty. You don't know the first thing about taking care of a Macau, so take him to a bird rehabilitation centre, so that he can live his life. People like you make the human race look like savages!
