Pathetic Greedy Parow Golf Course

To whom it may concern, As a Playmoregolf member , I feel entitled to complain about poor management of Parow Golf Course today. Playmoregolf would be well advised reconsidering using Parow as a PMG venue. We booked a round of golf and had a 13h14 tee off time. When we arrived at the course they had a golf day which was running 30 minutes late. There was no Marshall or starter controlling a golf day that had spiralled out of control. We eventually teed off at 14h00. What amaze me is how people who are otherwise successful and astute in their own businesses, I assume, can become so emotional and irrational about a game in which they have very little knowledge. The greatest cause of harm to a golf course isn’t weather or ****s or bugs. It’s golfers, particularly those who don’t do the little things – rake bunkers, fix ball marks, repair divots, drive on cart paths, pick up garbage (like beer bottles) – that are vital to the course’s health. And not to mention the etiquette…… The lack of Marshalls led to us walking off after 15 holes because by the time we got to the 15th it was 19h00. I and many social golfers walked off with a bitter taste in our mouths today and the realisation that Parow Golf Course did not give a damn about the us and was more interested in making as much money out of the golf day and the social golfers and to hell with the customers/golfer experience…… I will never recommend or will I play at Parow Golf Club and like I said in the beginning of this email, Playmoregolf would well advised to take Parow of the list of clubs if they are serious about the reputation.
