Watery & Smelly Custard

On 29/06/2020 I purchased PARMALAT thick and creamy custard at Spar Zevenwacht Mall. Expiry date is January 2021. Imagine my absolute disappointment when pulling off the tab to find watery custard with a really offputting smell. Thankfully we didnt spoil our dessert by pouring it straight on there... which is what we'd normally do. Where are the quality checks Parmalat? Really disappointed in one of my favourites :( Hope to receive some kind of response in this matter.
