Pensioner got sick from Parmalat milk

I'm writting this with great disgust and worry at the same time. My Mom bought Parmalat UHT milk from 1 of retail stores as part of her monthly groceries. They used the milk as always but then everyone started having upset tummy but they didn't think it was from the milk at first and she continued using it in her cereal and she got worse and went to the Doctor and was told she had a infection that was caused by something she consumed. One day while she was at a retail store as she was buying just a few items and 1 of the items was again UHT milk just to top up as only 2 cartons were left and she was advised by the cashier in the store that she can not buy parmalat milk as it is recalled and they took the milk from her and 1 of Management started shouting at the merchandiser that she was not supposed to pack out that batch and that it must be returned back to the supplier. She payed for her items and bought a different brand and left, when she got home she made herself a cup of tea and used the tiny bit that was left in the fridge and she still continued to have diarrhea and she realised that it could be the milk recalling what happened in the store earlier she then contacted the retail store and went to the doctor again and lodged a complain with parmat as the store told her it was the same batch that was recalled. On the 8th of February a representative from Parmalat came to pick up the milk from our home and till today my Mom did not receive any feedback from them. Is parmalat trying to run away from the fact that my Mom got sick because of their product? Do they even care about the health of their customers? My Mom had to use money that was suppose to be used for groceries to go to the Doctor, the sick note and the receipt from the Doctor was sent to Parmalat. She still had to go to the clinic and was referred to the hospital because she wasn't getting any better and we had no money to take her to the Doctor again. Well I must say that till today she is still experiencing stomach cramps and mild diarrhea

Care line, im sure you have the resources to do that on my behalf. I almost forgot to mention that my Mom received a R120 voucher this morning from Parmalat, You must be kidding. This is a clear indication that Parmalat takes people for granted for real. I can't even put my feelings to words at this moment

Since my review Parmalat only responded by saying they tried to contact me regarding my complain and said I should call them to lodge the complain. Despite my response they still couldn't care less and at least try to contact me to show that they care about their customers. Parmalat doesn't give a f*ck about us and how we feel. Could the reason be that they know that their milk was not suitable for human consumption and they are running away from their responsibilities???
